Eurogamer was founded in September 1999 and has been covering video games ever since. The site began life with a PC focus and a keen interest in the competitive FPS scene of the time, but over the years it has grown to cover every aspect of gaming - PC, console, indie, board games and anything else that the team and the site's readers find interesting.

Tom is Eurogamer's Editor-in-Chief. He writes lots of news, some of the puns and makes sure we put the accent on Pokémon. Tom joined Eurogamer in 2010 following a stint running a Nintendo fansite, and still owns two GameCubes. He also still plays Pokémon Go every day.
